Meet Your PR Trainer
Hi, I’m Jaime Abbott
I have 20 years of PR and media experience and I’m ready to turn your business into a household name by teaching you how to master your process for getting featured in the media.
My PR knowledge stems from an intense and rewarding journalism career. In 2011, I was deployed to Afghanistan, where I worked as the Chief Media Trainer in Kabul for six months for Headquarters International Security Assistance Force. It was here that I trained people from all over the world on how to master media interviews.
I started my reporting career with 2GB Radio in Sydney, Australia, before spending three years as a News Journalist and Presenter for Prime Television in Tamworth.
Now, after almost two decades in this space, I’m an award-winning media professional, international keynote speaker, and PR agency owner.
I created the Public Relations Pro course because I know this industry inside and out. By taking this course, I’ll give you the secrets I’ve used to help hundreds of clients land coveted media features.

The Public Relations Pro course is a virtualworkshop for small business owners, creative entrepreneurs and anyone who wants to learn how to create their own free publicity. Attendees will receive virtual PR lessons from Jaimie Abbott and conclude the course with a completed Pitch Pack ready for their business.
This course is for anyone who is interested in learning how to earn media for their personal brand or business. It’s also for marketing professionals who would like to learn PR and really, anyone with a passion for learning and working hard to make their dreams happen.
First and foremost: passion. You need passion. PR is not easy, but if you’re passionate about the work you’re doing, the journalists you’re pitching will see that.
If you’re not passionate, why should anyone else be?
Secondly, you will need patience. Patience with yourself to learn a new skill, and patience with the process of getting the word out about your passion.
As far as time and resources, budget about 60 minutes a week to watch each video. Additionally, you will of course need a.) high speed internet to watch the live videos and participate in the discussions on our Facebook page, b.) a Facebook profile to join the group.
